And there is also a cool down of a couple seconds so I can't have my operator to go out and get drops real quick. But with how slow the casting of the abilities are now my operator gets killed before I can get back after casting wellspring. I used to be able to go into operator void dash then hop back into my limbo. Like what is even the point of using limbo at this point. I tried to do elite sanctuary onslaught and ended up just out of the rift shooting things not using any abilities. Then there are ones that are immune to stasis. It's like majority of the Eximus can just use their powers that hit limbo through the rift nonstop. Honestly it feels like the whole damn update is meant to #*!% up Limbo. I would be perfectly fine just having a knockdown but that much damage is just way too much, it's like old self damage from AOE weapons. 1 hit can kill you under the right circumstances and it usually will lead to death anyways.īasically when you play Limbo and you try to deal with all the other eximus a blitz eximus can roll up and if you don't see it the wave goes through the rift and takes out your shields procs shield gating and knocks you down which ultimately by the time you stand up you'll get hit by another one and have no shield gating to save you and die. Blitz Eximus ground slam does an absurd amount of damage. I really didn't even notice the eximus change until playing Limbo, this has definitely missed its mark.Įdit: After playing a bit more I found the reason as to why this is so frustrating for Limbo. I will say this is coming from a player that likes to run endurance steel path missions, so maybe it's not all that bad for most of the game but for higher level stuff this change has made it way harder for Limbo than it has other frames. The rift is Limbo's only defensive option as his health has low scaling and his armor is very low and he has no other ability that protects his health bar. When you design a character around one mechanic you can't make any part of that mechanic not function because then the character itself doesn't function. I would rather just not been able to banish eximus units at all instead of this. Majority of Limbo builds don't use health mods because he has never really needed them but now it almost feels necessary as getting hit by multiple eximus attacks can just kill you whether you're in the rift or not. Now whenever there are a lot of eximus around me in the rift I get cc'd, damaged, have my energy taken, etc. Limbo has always been invulnerable in the rift and very squishy outside of it. I've having a hard time understanding why eximus abilities go through the rift.
